Edward is a solicitor in Hiways Lawyers’ Commercial team. Since joining the firm in 2025, he has assisted senior practitioners and supported clients across a broad range of matters, including commercial and civil disputes, litigation, criminal law and intervention order proceedings.
Edward began his legal career at Hiways Lawyers as an intern, where he demonstrated strong capability and dedication to client service, leading to his progression within the firm. He was admitted to practice as an Australian lawyer in the Supreme Court of Victoria on 24 February 2026.
Edward holds a Graduate Diploma of Australian Law from Monash University and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nottingham (UK). Prior to relocating to Melbourne in 2023, he worked as a paralegal in Hong Kong, where he gained practical experience assisting with common-law litigation and criminal matters.
Raised in Hong Kong, Edward is trilingual in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. He regularly assists clients from diverse backgrounds and is committed to providing clear, practical and cost-effective legal solutions tailored to each client’s circumstances.
Outside of office, Edward enjoys exercising, reading and spending time with his family and friends.
